Abstract: The investment project seeks to establish a micro-business dedicated to the manufacturing and marketing of crop-top and t-shirts in the city of Manta. Meticulous planning of incorporation expenses, investment in machinery and textile materials have laid the foundations for the operation of the business. However, financial analysis reveals considerable challenges, with a positive Net Present Value (NPV) and an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) suggesting good profitability. Although the pessimistic, average and optimistic scenarios provide varied perspectives, the investment recovery projected for the fourth year raises concerns, pointing to the need to review strategies. In the environmental field, moderate impacts are identified, from the consumption of natural resources to the generation of textile waste. The proposed solutions include recycling practices, energy efficiency and the search for sustainable materials. In response to the low projected profitability, it is recommended to consider issuing more shares to attract additional capital and reduce dependence on lenders. Furthermore, an in-depth review of operational and commercial strategies is suggested to improve profitability. Actively implementing sustainable practices and seeking process efficiencies can help mitigate environmental impacts and strengthen brand reputation. In summary, the success of the project depends on the adaptability and effective implementation of strategies that address both financial deficiencies and environmental impacts, with the objective of transforming the microenterprise into a sustainable and successful business in the dynamic city of Manta.
