Propuesta para mejorar la empleabilidad en el sector juvenil de la ciudad de Manta.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to make a proposal to improve employability in the youth sector of the city of Manta, for which the intervention of the State was determined through Keynesian theory. The qualitative research was used as part of a project to link "University Youth Unemployment". To this end, the database of the information survey carried out in October 2023 by a group of researchers from the Faculty of Social Sciences, Law and Welfare of the Eloy Alfaro Lay University of Manabí, guided by the Liaison Commission of the Economics Career, was taken. As a theoretical and methodological basis, this study is based on research articles published in specific journals such as Scielo, Google Scholar and documents published by institutions or organizations such as the ILO and ECLAC. The criteria for the selection of documents are: research articles on youth employment in recent years. The results obtained thus proved that the findings of the survey used are consistent with the existing literature on the employment of university students. Difficulties in balancing work and studies, the need to gain work experience, and limitations on study schedules are common problems faced by college students.
