Abstract: The Information Society brought with it new forms of communication and interconnection with the intermediation of information and communication technologies (ICT), The Internet being one of the most representative forms, which allows information flow instantly from anywhere in the world. In this networked society, information has become a key intangible asset for business competitiveness, which makes it an essential resource for planning, organization, direction and control functions of companies. Decision-making processes at different hierarchical levels Businesses require quality information, which is why, given the large volumes of data that is generated as a result of the daily activities carried out to fulfill the mission of companies or organizations, the integration of information and communication technologies as support tools that guarantee the delivery of quality information. Metal Hierro S.A. is a steel products marketing company services in the area of ​​metalworking, naval, industrial and construction: reliable, efficient; oriented to satisfy customers, innovating lines, with a great team of experience, to establish long-term relationships in the company and contributing to the generation of employment, creating fair remuneration in this way well-being and development of the society.
Description: La Sociedad de la Información trajo consigo nuevas formas de comunicación y de interconexión con la intermediación de las tecnologías de información y comunicación (TIC), siendo el Internet una de las formas más representativas, que permite que la información fluya de manera instantánea desde cualquier parte del mundo. En esta sociedad en red, la información se ha vuelto un bien intangible clave para la competitividad empresarial, lo cual la convierte en un recurso imprescindible para las funciones de planificación, organización, dirección y control de las empresas.
