Abstract

This case study will focus on the analysis of document management and the Access to information as a citizen right at the GAD Manta Cemetery Headquarters. This research will address crucial issues about the use of document management within this department, so that we seek to understand what is the use and management that is provide the documents and what document management systems are used for the systematization of the information that is collected daily, in the same way access to information as a citizen right. Basterra (2006) tells us that: The right of access to public information is the power that every citizen has, as a consequence of the government system, to access all types of information of public entities as a state obligation to implement a system administrative system that makes it easier for anyone to identify and access information requested. (pp 153-154) The interest in carrying out this research lies in the importance of proper use of document management and how it increases the efficiency of access to information.In addition, it seeks to evaluate what aspects affect the exercise of the right to access. of information to citizens in this local context.
