Abstract

This document aims to highlight the operational processes involved in importing jewelry of Chinese origin, serving as a support material for new entrepreneurs interested in importing. Nowadays, acquiring these types of imported products can be more agile and faster, thanks to existing technology and logistics providers. Each process is detailed, as well as the characteristics of the product to be imported, making the selection of merchandise quick and easy. This study employs a mixed methodology, combining qualitative and quantitative approaches to analyze the operations of importing jewelry from China to Ecuador. The research concludes that, although the importation of jewelry of Chinese origin presents significant opportunities for local businesses, strategic management is crucial to maximize benefits and mitigate risks in a competitive and ever-changing global environment.
