Abstract: | This research focuses on analyzing the evolution of Ecuadorian quinoa trade to the United States, highlight ing the challenges, strengths, and emerging trends in recent years. Quinoa, valued for its nutrit ional content and sustainabilit y, has gained popularit y among U.S. consumers, driving demand and posit ioning Ecuador as a relevant player in the global superfood market. Despite facing intense compet it ion from countries such as Peru and Bolivia, Ecuador has demonstrated the abilit y to adapt and respond to changing market dynamics. This study seeks not only to underst and Ecuador's current posit ion in the internat ional quinoa trade, but also to offer strategic recommendations to strengthen its presence and take advantage of future opportunit ies in the U.S. market. |
