Abstract: The present research aimed to determine how motivation influences the commitment of the employees at Verde y Café cafeteria, Manta branch, 2023.The research has a descriptive scope with a non-experimental, transversal descriptive methodological design of a quantitative type. – qualitative. To obtain the information, a survey was carried out on the 41 workers of the Verde y Café cafeteria in the city of Manta, that is, the entire population. In the data collection instrument, a questionnaire is applied for each variable. , which is composed of 35 items proposed by the authors Frederick Irving Herzberg and Meyer and Allen. The results of the Spearman's Rho correlation between extrinsic motivation and commitment present a coefficient of 0.647, therefore the correlation is demonstrated. On the other hand, according to the correlation between intrinsic motivation and commitment, the coefficient was 0.655, demonstrating that there is a correlation, both have a significance level of 0.000. Motivation is related to the commitment of workers with a coefficient equal to 0.756, obtaining a good positive correlation and demonstrating that the established correlation is true. Therefore, the initial research question is positively answered: “How does work motivation influence the commitment of the workers at the Verde y café cafeteria, Manta Branch?”.
Description: La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo general, determinar de qué manera influye la motivación en el compromiso de los trabajadores de la cafetería Verde y Café, sucursal Manta, 2023. La investigación tuvo un alcance descriptivo con un diseño metodológico no experimental descriptivo transversal de tipo cuantitativo.
