Abstract: The rise of trends towards immediacy and ease has also reached the food aspect, where more and more people prefer to buy prepared food instead of cooking something themselves. Therefore, this study focuses on the creation of a company dedicated to the production of artisanal pizzas. The purpose is to determine the feasibility of implementing the development of the activities of this business idea and to meet the food needs of the citizens of Manta. To develop this research, a market study and analysis was carried out on a total of 384 people to determine the tastes and preferences of consumers and thus adapt the business to the market reality. In the same way, a financial study was also carried out to determine the profitability of the business within a five-year projection, resulting in a NPV of $28,074.97 and an IRR of 66.62%, which indicates that this business can generate good profitability. In this way, it is expected that this business can contribute to the economic development of the city and the country, generating products that meet the needs of people and generating jobs, income and well-being that benefit all those involved and stakeholders surrounding the business.
Description: El aumento de las tendencias sobre la inmediatez y la facilidad también llegan al aspecto alimenticio, donde cada vez más personas prefieren comprar comida preparada en lugar de cocinar algo ellos mismos, por eso el presente estudio se enfoca en la creación de una empresa dedicada a la elaboración de pizzas artesanales, la finalidad es determinar la viabilidad para poner en marcha el desarrollo de las actividades de esta idea de negocio y satisfacer las necesidades alimenticias de la ciudadanía de Manta.
