Abstract: Companies operate in a dynamic and constantly changing market, marked by global factors that influence their commercial strategy. All decisions made in an organization can have a significant impact on its employees. Employees not only do their jobs, but also demonstrate their ability to follow orders and propose changes. Under this context, innovative behavior emerges as the active participation of employees in the development of their tasks, promoting improvements that benefit the organization. The objective of this work is to analyze the incidence that exists between work commitment and innovative behavior in the company Eurofish S.A. from the city of Manta. The methodology to be applied was a quantitative approach, descriptive and correlational, with a non-experimental design. A questionnaire was used as a data collection instrument, composed of 22 items that, by applying the probabilistic sampling formula, a sample of 327 employees could be obtained. On the other hand, to determine the correlation between the study variables, Spearman's correlation analysis was used as a statistical method, the results of which showed that there is a significant correlation between work commitment and innovative behavior in the company Eurofish S.A. Likewise, there are correlations between the dimensions of work commitment: affective commitment, continuous commitment and normative commitment; in the innovative behavior of the employees who made up the study population and sample.
Description: Las empresas actúan en un mercado dinámico y en constante cambio, marcado por factores globales que influyen en su estrategia comercial. Todas las decisiones tomadas en una organización pueden tener un impacto significativo en sus empleados. Los trabajadores no solo cumplen con su labor, sino que además demuestran su capacidad para seguir órdenes y proponer cambios. Bajo este contexto, el comportamiento innovador surge como la participación activa de los empleados en el desarrollo de sus tareas, promoviendo mejoras que beneficien a la organización.
