Abstract: | Currently, emotional intelligence is a concept that has gained special relevance in the organizational field, due to its influence on the job satisfaction of workers. Emotional intelligence refers to the ability to recognize, understand and manage one's own emotions and those of others effectively. The objective of this research is to demonstrate whether emotional intelligence influences the job satisfaction of employees of Ecuamaris S.A., located in the Montecristi canton. To carry out this research, a quantitative methodology with a correlational scope was adopted, using a non-experimental cross-sectional design. The survey was used as an information collection technique, using a questionnaire composed of 15 questions distributed in 6 dimensions. Likewise, the Likert scale data collection instrument was implemented. This instrument was applied to a sample of 70 employees of the organization, with the purpose of obtaining relevant data on the relationship between emotional intelligence and its impact on job satisfaction. The results reveal a Pearson correlation coefficient with a moderate positive value of 0.618 between the two variables, indicating that emotional intelligence influences job satisfaction at Ecuamaris S.A. in the Montecristi canton. |
Description: | En la actualidad, la inteligencia emocional es un concepto que ha cobrado especial relevancia en el ámbito organizacional, debido a su influencia en la satisfacción laboral de los trabajadores, la inteligencia emocional se refiere a la capacidad de reconocer, entender y manejar las emociones propias y las de los demás de manera efectiva. El objetivo de esta investigación es demostrar si la inteligencia emocional influye en la satisfacción laboral de los empleados de Ecuamaris S.A., ubicada en el cantón Montecristi. Para llevar a cabo esta investigación, se adoptó una metodología cuantitativa con un alcance correlacional, utilizando un diseño no experimental de tipo transversal. |
