Abstract: The project proposed in this work is to use the principles of hydraulics, resistance of materials and electrical to correctly develop a hydraulic press, for use in the machine and tool workshop in the title of maritime of the ULEAM. The development of this work consists of: Bibliographic review, based on adequate literature on hydraulic systems; the equation and dimensioning that make up the project; the work methodology; and finally the analysis of the results, where it can be concluded that the work was carried out in accordance with the main objective, which was to correctly size and select each component of the press, so that the equipment has a long useful life. Where the materials were selected based on simulations and calculations so that they could withstand the stresses due to the work force of the equipment.
