Abstract: The present work develops the calculation, design, and construction of a test bench for electronic and mechanical injectors in conventional systems. This project arises from the need for an affordable and innovative tool to evaluate the design and performance of injectors in conventional gasoline and Diésel systems, especially at the Faculty of Maritime Engineering of the Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí. To achieve this objective, various bibliographic sources were consulted, and advice was sought from engineers and specialists in the field. The injector test machine features a design focused on achieving a model that is not only economical and affordable but also efficient and precise in its measurements. The first step was to select an electronic board that generates pulses for injector operation. This board is crucial for the project as it allows for simulating the working conditions of the injectors and evaluating their performance. Subsequently, the injector test machine was constructed, including the installation of a rack with graduated cylinders for precise measurement of the injected fuel quantities. For Diésel injection tests, a 6BGL-2 injection pump driven by a three hp three-phase motor was used. For electronic gasoline injection, various components such as fuel pumps, pressure gauges, and a board that allows configuring the necessary parameters to simulate working environments were used. This injector test machine will enable students and professors to conduct detailed analyses of injector operation.
Description: El presente trabajo sé desarrolla el cálculo, diseño y construcción de un banco de pruebas para inyectores electrónicos y mecánicos en sistemas convencionales. Este proyecto surge de la necesidad de contar con una herramienta asequible e innovadora que permita evaluar el deseño y rendimiento de los inyectores en sistemas convencionales a gasolina y Diésel, especialmente en la carrera de Ingeniería Marítima de la Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí.
