Abstract: Electrical energy is used in daily and productive processes; however, some forms of generation are polluting, which is why new forms of renewable generation such as solar photovoltaics have been chosen. In this document, the implementation of the 8960-9 emulator was conducted for the simulation of photovoltaic systems in the electricity laboratory as an object of study. The four-quadrant dynamometer was used which, through its emulator function, allowed us to simulate photovoltaic systems with different types of configurations, having control over the necessary parameters according to the different scenarios that arise and being able to visualize the complete process of energy generation since it emulated the cells of a solar panel. For the implementation, a quantitative methodology was taken as a reference, which was based on the performance indicators provided by the manufacturer. The simulation of photovoltaic systems in the laboratory was of significant help as an object of study to understand the behavior of the panels, simulating the solar conditions that may occur in certain geographical locations when conducting a study for the implementation of photovoltaic projects in said place. As a result of the implementation, it was possible to analyze that the parameters vary according to the scenarios proposed for the simulations. It can be demonstrated that the number of photovoltaic solar panels together with the level of solar radiation influences when generating and storing energy.
Description: La energía eléctrica se usa en los procesos diarios y productivos, sin embargo, algunas formas de generación son contaminantes por lo que se ha optado por nuevas formas de generación renovables como la solar fotovoltaica, en el presente documento se efectuó la implementación del emulador 8960-9 para la simulación de sistemas fotovoltaicos en el laboratorio de electricidad como objeto de estudio. Se usó el dinamómetro de cuatro cuadrantes el cual mediante su función de emulador nos permitió realizar la simulación de sistemas fotovoltaicos con diferentes tipos de configuraciones, teniendo el control sobre los parámetros necesarios de acuerdo con los diferentes escenarios que se planteen y poder visualizar el proceso completo de generación de energía ya que emuló las células de un panel solar.
