Abstract: Exclusive breastfeeding in adolescent mothers is an essential and important practice in newborns, due to the various properties and nutrients it contains, and which are decisive for the health of the mother and the baby, however, its process continues to be interrupted, increasing the chances of disease. Therefore, the main objective is established to analyze the Clinical Practice Guide on breastfeeding, to improve the quality of life in infants under 6 months, through a documentary review in databases such as Elsevier, PubMed, Redalyc, Finding as a result, that there are a series of factors that affect the suspension of exclusive breastfeeding, which are associated with the lack of family support, cultural and social pressure, as well as socioeconomic conditions, which has led to breastfeeding It is only generated in a time shorter than 6 months of life of the newborn, being a substantial problem for the protective barriers of the newborn, and at the same time, causing emotional complexities in the mother. In the conclusive aspect, the problem that led to a lack of interest in exclusive breastfeeding was evident, motivating the analysis of a guide that serves to guide the health professional and that in turn transmits knowledge to improve the continuity of exclusive breastfeeding.
Description: La lactancia materna exclusiva en madres adolescentes se constituye como una práctica esencial e importante en los recién nacidos, debido a las diversas propiedades y nutrientes que contiene y que son determinantes para la salud de la madre como del bebé, sin embargo, su proceso sigue siendo interrumpido, aumentando las posibilidades de enfermedades.
