Abstract: | Introduction: Dengue is an acute viral disease that spreads mainly through the bite of the female Aedes Aegypti mosquito, which easily adapts to urban environments, 40% of the world's population is at risk of contracting this disease, which dengue is found in tropical and subtropical climate regions around the world, is caused by some factors including latitude, humidity, settlement patterns, housing status, water supply, inadequate solid waste collection, socioeconomic status and cultural factors; On the other hand, the nursing professional in the management of patients with dengue is in a strategic position in early detection, therapeutic management, prevention and health education, in order to avoid possible fatal complications. Objective: To determine the factors associated with dengue infection through bibliographic review. Methodology: This study has a type of descriptive documentary research with an analytical-synthetic method, 50 articles were searched, the sample was 17 articles taken from different databases. Three tables were made that respond to the objectives. Conclusions: It has been shown that the factors associated with dengue infection reveal that a combination of environmental, socioeconomic, biological, and behavioral factors interact in a complex way, increasing the susceptibility and spread of the virus, highlighting the need for comprehensive and multifaceted approaches to its prevention and control. |
Description: | El dengue es una enfermedad viral aguda que se propaga principalmente a través de la picadura de la hembra del mosquito Aedes Aegypti, el cual se adapta fácilmente a entornos urbanos, el 40% de la población mundial está en riesgo de contraer esta enfermedad, lo cual el dengue se encuentra en regiones de clima tropical y subtropical en todo el mundo, es causado por algunos factores que incluyen la latitud, la humedad, los patrones de asentamiento, el estado de las viviendas, el suministro de agua, la recolección inadecuada de desechos sólidos, el estado socioeconómico y los factores culturales; por otra parte el profesional de enfermería en el manejo de pacientes con dengue se sitúa en una posición estratégica en la detección precoz, manejo terapéutico, prevención y educación para la salud, para poder evitar posible complicaciones fatales. |
