Abstract: The quality of care in health services is the responsibility of the different groups that work in a hospital institution, and the nursing professional has the direct responsibility of offering a quality service, using their knowledge, values, attitudes. and the skills to meet the expectations of the care subject. This satisfaction is achieved through the therapeutic relationship established between the nurse and patient, with the positive or negative perception that the latter has of said relationship being what ultimately determines the quality of care. The objective of this study is to design an educational nursing care strategy to improve the quality of care; Methodology Given the characteristics of the research, a retrospective study was carried out, searching for systematized information and the respective analysis of the electronic documents related to the topic, considering that the study aims to understand the reality being investigated, with a broad theoretical basis that allowed evaluate the quality and satisfaction of nursing care at the second level of care. The results indicate that, when comparing the perception of patients and that of health personnel regarding the quality of nursing care, it is evident that there is a high quality of care, but a low level of satisfaction.
Description: La calidad de la atención en los servicios de salud es responsabilidad de los diferentes grupos que laboran en una institución hospitalaria, y el profesional de enfermería, tiene la responsabilidad directa de ofrecer un servicio con calidad, valiéndose de sus conocimientos, los valores, las actitudes y las habilidades para satisfacer las expectativas del sujeto de cuidado. Dicha satisfacción se logra a través de la relación terapéutica establecida entre la enfermera y paciente, siendo la percepción positiva o negativa que este último tenga de dicha relación la que finalmente determina la calidad de la atención.
