Abstract: Chronic-degenerative diseases are recurrent conditions in the population. These frame a series of pathologies that are considered the main forms of morbidity and mortality in the world, being that diabetes mellitus, like high blood pressure, are some of the conditions most acquired by the population, whose objective is to compare the factors of risk of suffering from type 2 diabetes mellitus after applying an educational strategy through a bibliographic review to determine the best interventions. This research was carried out following the characteristics of a non-experimental descriptive study of a bibliographic review type with a descriptive tendency. The analysis of the information allowed the design of an educational application aimed at users. In conclusion, it is important to emphasize the most viable educational interventions, that is, the combination of educational strategies with tests and pilot programs to ensure the effectiveness of the studies.
Description: Las enfermedades crónico-degenerativas son padecimientos recurrentes en la población. Estas enmarcan una serie de patologías que se consideran como principales formas de morbimortalidad en el mundo, siendo así que la diabetes mellitus, al igual que la hipertensión arterial, son algunas de las afecciones más adquiridas por la población, cuyo objetivo es comparar los factores de riesgo de padecer diabetes mellitus tipo 2 después de aplicarse una estrategia educativa a través de revisiones bibliográficas para determinar las mejores intervenciones.
