Abstract: Teenage pregnancy occurs in women aged 19 years or younger and its evaluation allows us to identify the social factors associated with this condition, for this reason, it is essential to mention that teenage pregnancy no longer only represents a health problem, but has also become a social problem. Objective: To determine through bibliographic reviews, the most influential psychosocial factors in the self-care of pregnant adolescents with high blood pressure. Methodology: The proposed research is of a documented type, so information has been collected from different certified bibliographic sources which allows us to have credibility in the psychosocial factors that influence the self-care of pregnant adolescents with high blood pressure, therefore, a deductive, analytical, retrospective, qualitative and descriptive research study has been carried out in accordance with the research. Results: Then, by analyzing the selected information, it was possible to determine that emotional factors, such as stress and anxiety, can aggravate hypertension, which underlines the importance of psychological well-being. In addition, access to health services and socioeconomic status influence the ability to self-care for the disease. Conclusion: Finally, it is essential to mention that psychosocial factors that influence self-care of pregnant adolescents with high blood pressure are critical to prevent serious complications. A supportive family and social environment, as well as education about hypertension and pregnancy, are essential for adolescents to understand the risks and take care of their health.
Description: El embarazo en la adolescencia ocurre en mujeres de 19 años o menos y su evaluación permite identificar los factores sociales asociados a esta condición, por esta razón, es imprescindible mencionar que, el embarazo adolescente ya no solo representa un problema de salud, sino que también se ha convertido en una problemática social.
