Abstract: The systernatic review titled Music Therapy Applied to Occupational Therapy in Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder aimed to examine the role of the occupational therapist in this field, as well as identify the key skills affected by autism and explore the impact of music therapy on the treatment of this population through an exhaustive bibliographic analysis. The inforrnation search was conducted in reliable databases such as Scielo, Dialnet, Redalyc, and Google Scholar, yielding results that highlight music therapy's ability to foster ernotional development, improve perception, and motor skills, and ernploy music as a tool for expression and communication. Additionally, it was found that music therapy can alleviate anxiety by rnanaging tensions, fears, and blockages.
Description: La revisión sistemática titulada Musicoterapia aplicada a la Terapia Ocupacional en niños con trastorno del espectro autista tuvo corno propósito examinar la función del terapeuta ocupacional en este ámbito, así como identificar las habiIidades claves afectadas por el autismo y explorar el impacto de la musicoterapia en el tratamiento de esta población a través de un análisis bibliográfico exhaustivo.
