Abstract

The present research work whose theme is "Analysis of the work performance of the employees of the Piedacita Market shopping center located in the city of Manta" has as its main objective to analyze the work performance of said company, since normally in companies after a process of recruitment and selection of personnel, the person who meets the requirements and who has the best profile to carry out the functions related to the position is hired, these people who in the first instance promised with their knowledge and skills, with passing the Time, workload, pressure, demotivation, among other factors, make these collaborators discouraged and in turn this decreases performance within the work, being a frequent event over time. Thus, the problem of the Piedacita Market shopping center in relation to poor performance by its employees, an analysis of the causes that intercede for each dimension is carried out through the application of an evaluation in the form of a survey directed at the workers, in where low levels of skills, behaviors and results were evidenced, therefore, it is necessary to design an action plan that manages to improve job performance since if the human resource does not work effectively this has a negative impact on the entire company and its productivity decreases. As a solution to the problem, the application of business strategies is proposed to improve the work performance of the "Piedacita Market" shopping center, based on activities such as: training, workshops and finally the planning and organization of tasks in order of priorities.
