Abstract

Information and communication technologies are changing the world more and more every day, this is demonstrated in all technological advances, such as the creation of new technological resources, programs, devices, among others, in addition, Its use is increasing in new companies that arise and in the daily life of people, therefore this research aims to identify the impact that ICT have on businesses in the Nuevo Tarqui Commercial Zone, for that a descriptive type of research with a quantitative approach was used, the survey instrument was applied, for this a sample of 317 businesses taken from a population of 1800 was established. After analyzing the results expressed in the surveys, it was concluded that few businesses use ICT (technological resources) in their businesses, but precisely these have had an improvement in certain aspects such as competitiveness and performance.
