Abstract: The management of human talent is a transversal axis in the development and growth of organizations, so, to achieve a complete commitment, empowerment and integration within the business organization chart, leadership is a key element, since the role exercised by the management and middle managers, translates into organizational behavior and compliance with the primary objectives of the company. In this sense, the general objective of this research focuses on the analysis of the relationships and the impact generated by leadership styles on organizational behavior of the "Instituto de Ciencias Críticas Manabí ICCMANABÍ S.A" of the Portoviejo canton. To achieve this objective, a mixed methodological design was used, applying exploratory and descriptive research. The staff working in the institute was considered as the target population, and a population sample was calculated configured by 32 collaborators, to whom a structured survey was applied with questions that correspond to the Likert scale, whose purpose was to analyze the variables that relate leadership styles with organizational behavior. The results of the research showed that the various leadership styles produce a profound transactional impact on the perception of staff with respect to organizational behavior, from which three transversal edges have been identified: people and groups, environment and structure. Therefore, it was concluded that there is indeed a correlation between the variables tested, since much of the responsibility for organizational behavior and the results obtained by the area of human talent, fall directly on the leader of the organization.
Description: La gestión de talento humano es un eje transversal en el desarrollo y crecimiento de las organizaciones, por lo que, para alcanzar un completo compromiso, empoderamiento e integración dentro del organigrama empresarial, el liderazgo es un elemento clave, ya que el rol que ejerce la directiva y los mandos medios, se traduce en el comportamiento organizacional y en el cumplimiento de los objetivos primordiales de la empresa.
