Abstract

The present research refers to the topic of The Social Situation of Children and Adolescents of the Manta Canton, year, 2024. The objective of this research is to know the different social situations that migrant children and adolescents experience within the Manta canton, year 2024. Thus Identify the impact and obstacles that migration has on this vulnerable population, in order to understand how each of these affects the community. To analyze this problem, each of the causes, situations and consequences of human mobility must be mentioned. An example of this is the various types of discrimination, rejection, bullying, homelessness, abandonment, abuse, violence among others that Directly and indirectly affect children and adolescents. Within the research, a qualitative approach was applied with a phenomenological design with information collection techniques such as open interviews with a considerable sample of migrants for the necessary search for real and effective information, making known their experiences, perspectives and situations being In this case migrant families within the Manta canton with the support and monitoring of the Municipality of Manta together with the Casa de la Niñez that in some way. The results of the research show how the different organizations and services provided by the Manta canton try to solve the needs and demands caused by human mobility, they seek in some way to protect the rights and well-being of people in a general and additional way. Through the interviews carried out, it is concluded that the various social situations that children and adolescents experience are in constant change due to the migratory flow and the humanitarian approach that organizations have towards children and adolescents, having positive changes within the canton and thus safeguard the life of migrant boys, girls and adolescents in the city of Manta, year 2024.
