Abstract: Social Work, from a critical and emancipatory approach, in the prevention of gender violence, has allowed us to understand and highlight the different experiences of men and women in their interaction with the State, the family and the social welfare systems promoted by public policies. Therefore, taking into account the importance of this topic, the present study is carried out related to social intervention in the prevention of gender violence from the experience of the ULEAM. The purpose of this study is to determine social intervention in the prevention of gender violence from the experience of the ULEAM, 2024. To collect information, a qualitative approach was used, with its respective graphing and triangulation process. The interview instrument was carried out on 3 social workers responsible for the student welfare area, and included the participation of 1 psychiatrist, 2 general practitioners and teachers from the ULEAM. As a result, it was found that the most informed and committed students show a higher level of empowerment and have a clearer understanding of their rights, thanks to the realization of workshops and educational activities, these programs have contributed to creating an environment of respect and support within the university. It is concluded that social intervention in the prevention of gender violence has shown significant progress, with the implementation of policies, programs and support services, through various strategies and the integration of institutional protocols, the university has worked to create a safer and more inclusive environment, promoting gender equality and respect for women.
