Abstract: | The following research was carried out at the University Experimental Farm Rio Suma belonging to the Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí, El Carmen extension. The purpose of this trial was to evaluate the optimum levels of boron chelate in fertilization of Tanzania grass (Panicum maximum), by means of a test plots of which 4 repetitions were used, which were the evaluation days (20, 25, 30 and 35 days). Also 5 treatments were used with different doses (0, 500, 1000, 1500, 2000 ml per Ha-1) in a complete randomized block design. The following variables were studied: plant height, leaf length, stem length, leaf width, stem diameter and number of leaves evaluated continuously from age 20 every 5 days for 35 days. The results showed that treatment 4 (1500 ml of boron metalloate per ha-1) outperformed the rest in the variables (plant height, stem length, leaf width and number of leaves), although treatment 3 was at the same level with better results in leaf length and stem diameter, suggesting the use of intermediate doses of T4 and T3 for their respective effect. |
