Abstract: | The purpose of this research work was to evaluate the agronomic response of Tanzania grass (Panicum maximum) fertilized with different levels of magnesium chelate. This test was carried out in the Pambilar area above (via the Manabí flower). Canton El Carmen, which is part of the province of Manabí. Plots of 2 x 2 m were created for each treatment, resulting in an experimental area of 208 m2. The treatments corresponding to the magnesium doses were 0.0T1; 0.5T2; 1.0T3; 1.5T4 and 2.0T5. A randomized complete block design (DBCA) was used with four treatments, in addition to a control and 4 repetitions per treatment. To find statistical differences between the means of the treatments, an analysis of variance (ADEVA) was carried out with the Tukey mean comparison test at 5%. The results showed that treatment 3 showed a highly significant difference (p<0.01), with a dose of 1.0 Lt/ha, in the variable plant height, leaf length, stem length, leaf width and stem diameter. Concluding that treatment 3 with a dose of 1.0 Lt/ha is the most recommended for fertilizing with magnesium chelates. |
