Abstract: The inclusion of hydroponic green fodder can improve production and efficiency in pig farming. Pork is a leader in global red meat production due to the advantages it offers adaptability to different farming methods, high reproduction rate, fast growth and variety of by-products. However, Creole pigs face challenges such as slower growth and health problems due to their environment. This research helps us determine the effectiveness of hydroponic corn with different feeding levels in pigs, combining hydroponic corn with balanced feed. The analysis included initial weight, final weight, weight gain and feed conversion. An experimental design with three treatments and five replicates was used. The results showed that the initial weight was significant, with a maximum measurement of 81.1 ± 2.68 VFHM with balanced, the final weight varied significantly since a maximum mean of 94.51 ± 1.56 was identified, for weight gain we obtained as results a maximum of 13.4 ± 0.68. Finally, the analysis of feed conversion showed that the differences are highly reliable, in which the hydroponic green forage plus balanced was used with a maximum measurement of 6.22 ± 0.27. The inclusion of hydroponic corn as an additional supplement to the balanced feed, helps us to have a positive effect on swine production.

La carne de cerdo es líder en la producción global de carnes rojas debido a las ventajas que ofrece: adaptabilidad a diferentes métodos de cría, alto índice de reproducción, rápido crecimiento y variedad de subproductos. Sin embargo, los cerdos de raza criolla enfrentan desafíos como un crecimiento más lento y problemas de salud debido a su entorno.
