Abstract: | This research focuses on teaching materials to address dysorthography in tenth year students of the “5 de Junio” Educational Unit. In pre-professional practices, a significant lack of mastery of spelling rules was observed in students. Mastering spelling is essential because it allows you to develop writing and communication skills appropriate for academic and professional life. The main objective was to analyze the teaching materials that teachers use to address dysorthography in tenth grade students. The study is quantitative in nature with a descriptive level, techniques and instruments were used that allowed the objectives set in the research to be achieved. The results were obtained through a survey administered to teachers and a diagnostic test aimed at students, which demonstrated that the teaching materials that have given teachers the best results in improving dysorthography in students are the dictionary, cacographic files and identifying errors in writing. It is concluded that teaching materials are effective in helping students overcome dysorthography; however, despite being very beneficial, not all teachers use them when teaching their classes, which may be one of the reasons why In the diagnostic test, the students demonstrated a low level of spelling proficiency, which is why recommendations are offered to help the student overcome this difficulty. |
