Abstract: Didactic resources offer a significant contribution in terms of the existing appreciation and relevance in education. Therefore, the general objective of this project is to analyze the didactic resources used in the teaching-learning of mathematics in sixth grade students of basic general education of the “5 de Junio” Educational Unit. The methodological framework of this project was oriented towards a quantitative approach using the survey technique, with a positivist paradigm since, through this, a descriptive level emerges, to provide answers to the research questions, having as population to 75 people, with a sample of at least 30 sixth grade students, there was also the collaboration of the authorities and 11 teachers in the mathematics area. In the results obtained, it can be mentioned that the educational actors that make up the "5 de Junio" Educational Unit of the El Carmen canton state that they feel motivated and make use of the available didactic resources. However, there is a considerable group that has not been able to take advantage of these resources as expected. Thus, the institution must focus on providing teaching and tools to teachers and students for the appropriate use of teaching materials, as well as improving access and integration of teaching resources in learning activities, in order to ensure that everyone can benefit from them.
Description: Los recursos didácticos ofrecen un aporte significativo en cuanto a la apreciación y relevancia existentes en la educación. Por tanto, este proyecto tiene como objetivo general, analizar los recursos didácticos empleados en la enseñanza-aprendizaje de las matemáticas en los estudiantes de sexto grado de educación general básica de la Unidad Educativa “5 de junio”.
