Métodos de intervención fonoaudiológica en patologías de origen neurológico.

Abstract

The development of this systematic review of scientific studies aimed to analyze the methods of speech therapy intervention in pathologies of neurological origin that affect swallowing function. The methodology consisted of a Systematic Model of descriptive information, where inclusion and exclusion criteria were used for the selection of scientific articles obtained from reliable sources such as Dialnet, Scielo, Redalyc, among others, which show the pathologies of neurological origin that affect swallowing in these patients. Among the main results, it was found that the most common neurological pathologies are locked-in syndrome, vocal disorders, Parkinson's, sclerosis and muscular dystrophy; Biofeedback and functional electrical stimulation were focused on as intervention methods, highlighting their importance through the intervention of speech therapy professionals.
