Abstract: The study investigated the barriers and innovative strategies in the management of human talent at the Laica Eloy Alfaro University of Manabí (ULEAM). Its objective was to analyze the impact of these strategies on inclusion, communication and professional development, fundamental areas to strengthen the commitment and satisfaction of the university community. A quantitative design was used, applying a structured questionnaire with a Likert scale to teachers, students and administrative staff, selected through convenience sampling. The collected data were processed with descriptive statistical techniques to identify patterns in the perceptions of the respondents. The results revealed that the majority of participants positively perceived the culture of inclusion, diversity, and the use of technology in talent management. However, areas for improvement were highlighted, such as the need to increase the visibility of inclusive initiatives, strengthen internal communication channels and ensure equitable access to professional development programs. The discussion highlighted that, although current policies are largely effective, it is crucial to implement improvements that ensure more active and balanced participation. Based on these findings, it was concluded that reinforcing training strategies, technology and external collaboration is essential to overcome the identified barriers and promote an inclusive and efficient university environment.
Description: El estudio investigó las barreras y estrategias innovadoras en la gestión del talento humano en la Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí (ULEAM). Su objetivo fue analizar el impacto de estas estrategias sobre la inclusión, comunicación y desarrollo profesional, áreas fundamentales para fortalecer el compromiso y la satisfacción de la comunidad universitaria. Se utilizó un diseño cuantitativo, aplicando un cuestionario estructurado con escala Likert a docentes, estudiantes y personal administrativo, seleccionados mediante muestreo por conveniencia.
