Evaluación de la satisfacción de los comerciantes reubicados en los módulos de la zona comercial Nuevo Tarqui de Manta.

Abstract

This research aimed to evaluate the job satisfaction of merchants relocated to the New Tarqui commercial zone in Manta. The specific objective was to describe the level of job satisfaction among merchants operating in the modules of the New Tarqui commercial zone. A quantitative methodology was employed for this study, with a descriptive scope and a cross-sectional, non-experimental design. Data was collected from 318 merchants in the modules of the New Tarqui commercial zone using an 18-item Likert scale questionnaire. The reliability of the data collection instrument, as measured by Cronbach's alpha, was 0.979, indicating high reliability. The results revealed a high level of job satisfaction among the merchants in the commercial zone. These positive results can be attributed to several factors, such as positive affect towards work, high self-efficacy, and positive future expectations. However, a small percentage of merchants indicated that they could receive greater benefits or more support from the administration of the commercial zone. Another minority group expressed some uncertainty about their progress in the modules. Based on the results obtained, Chapter 4 presents an action plan to optimize the work environment and promote the well-being of merchants in the modules of New Tarqui.
