Abstract: | The present investigative work addresses the Management of the drinking water service and the satisfaction of the citizens of Manta, 2024, with the objective of determining the influence of administrative management on the satisfaction of citizens in drinking water services. Whose research was developed through a quantitative approach, with a correlational and non-experimental design in which data collection techniques were used through surveys applied to 383 citizens of Manta. The results reflected that the dimensions of administrative rationality and resource allocation had significant deficiencies, which negatively impacted citizen satisfaction; however, positive aspects were identified such as the technical capacity of the staff and continuous access to certain areas. It was concluded that the improvement in administrative rationality and resource allocation, the implementation of digital control mechanisms and the creation of citizen communication spaces are essential strategies to optimize service quality. In addition, a comprehensive action plan was emphasized, based on internal audit and citizen participation has the potential to positively transform the perception of the service and increase the community's confidence in the management of drinking water. This work contributes to the strengthening of the organization. and similar and in the efficiency of public service in Manta. |
