Abstract: ABSTRACT The objective of this project was to start an ice cream parlor and cafeteria called “RICO ICE” focused on customer service, variety of menu and comfort of the premises in the Manta 2024 university sector. The activities carried out determined the acceptance of consumption, competition, income and expenses, viability and profitability. To do this, a quantitative approach methodology was applied which, through numerical measurement, analyzed the behavior of the market and the environment. Additionally, a bibliographic analysis was carried out where scientific information is collected from different pages, scientists validating the information. The venture is extremely feasible since it generates a profitability of 100%, from which it can be concluded that the company had a good performance due to the efficiency in the operation of assets and leverage. Likewise, the NPV is greater than zero, being $25,068.34, this is calculated with the latest cash flow values, whose percentage is 37%. The size of the project is 423 (daily preparations) and of this 265 are produced, so it is suggested to increase the percentage of capture (go from 1% to 3% or 4%) of the market in the future and increase sales, generating greater profitability of the project.
Description: El presente proyecto tuvo como objetivo emprender una heladería y cafetería denominada “RICO ICE” enfocado en el servicio al cliente, variedad de menú y confort del local en el sector universitario Manta 2024, las actividades efectuadas determinaron la aceptación de consumo, la competencia, los ingresos y egresos, la viabilidad y rentabilidad.
