Abstract

This research delves into the analysis of the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to optimize administrative processes in the Business Administration Degree at the Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro. With a theoretical-scientific approach, the possibilities of automation and innovation in the degree are explored, seeking to improve the educational experience of the university community. To this end, a methodology based on the development of a consistency matrix is used, considered a tool that allows identifying and analyzing existing problems in administrative processes, both internal and external. Based on this analysis, a specific impact objective is established for each problem and a hypothesis is proposed that relates it to the implementation of AI-based solutions. The study highlights the need to implement new technologies to optimize and transform administrative processes in the Degree. It also emphasizes the need to implement these technologies efficiently and appropriately, considering the specific characteristics of the initial situation of the administrative processes that the degree has.
