Abstract

The subject of this case study is Data Security as a Strategy in Information Management in the Human Talent Department of the Fresh Fish Company in Ecuador, in the year 2024. Likewise, the motivation for carrying out this study is to help entities safeguard information in a solid manner, to ensure its authenticity and strength in the methods that each area manages. Therefore, it is essential to provide strategies to encourage organizations that suffer from the same, since they can combat them without any problem, because they damage the decency of the documentation and harm the management methods. This study reflects the importance of good data security, since it is prestigious to protect the entity's digital or physical documentation against non-delegated access or theft of records that develops during the period of existence of the files; On the other hand, information management consists of managing the records that the departments handle, to ensure that the reports are useful and accessible to those who request them.
