Abstract

In the present case study entitled “Computer Systems to Guarantee Information as a Management Resource in the Decentralized Autonomous Government of the Canton Jaramijó 2024” it was carried out in a public institution such as the Decentralized Autonomous Government of the Canton Jaramijó, a company that is in charge of providing services to citizens. Nowadays, computer systems are a fundamental part in the management of information in both public and private organizations, due to the large volume of data generated as a result of the activities they carry out to fulfill their mission. Therefore, information constitutes an essential strategic resource for managers to make effective and informed decisions.
