Abstract

The present case study has as its theme: “Power BI Tool as a Technique in the Management of Information in the Warehouse Department at the IESS de los Esteros, 2024”, this study focuses on the analysis and application of Power BI as a technique in the management of information. The interest in developing this research work lies in addressing the recurring challenges that arise in the administration of the department, such as manual data management, lack of visibility in real time and limited capacity to anticipate data deficits or excesses. Therefore, by implementing the Power BI Tool, you will contribute to transforming data in a strategic way, since it is crucial to modernize the entire department. On the other hand, the purpose of this research is to demonstrate that the implementation of this tool will help the department to have an effective data analysis, in addition to the generation of reports and an interactive visualization, which will optimize data control, to improve processes and provide an orderly and accurate database of medical supplies. Likewise, the main objective of this study is to analyze the Power BI tool as a technique in Information Management in the Warehouse Department at the IESS of Los Esteros in 2024.
