Abstract

Data analysis in the current era is essential to improve operational efficiency and obtain competitive advantages in a digital environment. Treviño et al. (2020) consider that “the course of the business world has taken an unexpected turn that points to the revolution of data analysis, its processing and its transformation into useful information capable of making great contributions to decision-making” (p. 1065). The present study, entitled “Digital data analysis tool for information maintenance”, is developed in the Human Talent Department of the Public Production and Strategic Development Company of the Laica Eloy Alfaro University of Manabí, as a case study during the year 2024, with the purpose of understanding whether a digital data analysis tool can generate a positive impact on the maintenance of information in the aforementioned department. Likewise, the importance of this study lies in promoting the use of a digital data analysis tool that facilitates the management and updating of data guaranteeing its precision, integrity and availability, so that the objective focuses on the use of a digital data analysis tool to strengthen the maintenance of information in the Human Talent Department in the Public Company of Production and Strategic Development (EPULEAM).
