Abstract

The study entitled "Administrative Processes and their Impact on Document Management in the Financial Department of the Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí, during the year 2024" was developed as a case study, with emphasis on the administrative process of payment to postgraduate teachers, a key component in the financial operations of the institution. The interest in carrying out this research arose from the need to understand the current limitations in document management, especially those related to the absence of technological systems. These deficiencies have a direct impact on administrative processes, generating delays, errors and a greater operational burden for the staff involved. Identifying and analyzing these limitations is essential to propose solutions that contribute to improving the operation and organization of the Financial Department.
