Abstract: The objective of this study was to evaluate the growth and weight of red tilapia (Oreochromis sp) with two balanced feedstuffs (Balanced Artisanal Shrimp Head and Balanced Commercial Biobalanced). The growth and weight behavior of 200 specimens distributed in 4 geomembrane tanks with a density of 50 red tilapia in a fry stage that were fed with different balanced feeds (45;38 and 34% protein) was evaluated. The red tilapia were reared for a period of 45 days in geomembrane ponds with dimensions of 2 m (Length) * 2 m (Width) * 1.40 m (Height) each round pond, in order to carry out the experimental study of the treatments applied in the (Tank 1, Tank 2, Tank 3, Tank 4). In addition, an analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Fisher's test were used to determine the best balanced diet for the red tilapia culture, and the statistical analysis showed that there was a statistical difference between the four monitoring tests, which were as follows: According to the monitoring carried out during the time of experimentation the value was (p 0.174) of degrees of significance within the estimated variables, the Artisanal Balanced Shrimp Head obtained a slight growth and weight compared to the Commercial Balanced Bio Mentos. On the other hand, the production cost analysis of the shrimp head balancer is 11% higher than the production cost of the commercial bio-balanced balancer, in spite of the high cost of the artisanal balancer, this could be a very competitive product with the commercial balancer.
Description: En el presente trabajo se planteó como objetivo evaluar el crecimiento y peso de la tilapia roja (Oreochromis sp) con dos alimentos balanceados (Balanceado Artesanal de Cabeza de Camarón y Balanceado Comercial Bio Balanceado). Se evaluó el comportamiento de crecimiento y peso de 200 ejemplares distribuidos en 4 tanques de geomembrana con una densidad de 50 tilapias rojas en un estado de alevín que fueron alimentadas con diferentes alimentos balanceados al (45;38 y 34% de proteínas). Las tilapias rojas fueron criadas por un periodo de 45 días en estanques de geomembranas con dimensiones de 2 m de (Largo) * 2 m de (Ancho) * 1.40 de (Alto) cada estanque redondo, para poder realizar el estudio de experimentación de los tratamientos aplicados en el (Tanque1, Tanque 2, Tanque 3, Tanque 4).
