Abstract

This paper addresses Ecuador's government policy regarding trade agreements with major powers, with the aim of analyzing the strategies and decisions adopted by the Ecuadorian government in this area. The impacts of these agreements on the national economy are explored, identifying both the opportunities and the challenges that arise from negotiations with key international actors such as the United States, China and the European Union. Through a multidisciplinary approach that encompasses economics, foreign policy and international relations, the study examines the evolution of trade agreements and their influence on the country's economic development and global integration. Likewise, the effectiveness of Ecuadorian trade policy in defending its interests and in seeking sustainable and equitable economic growth is evaluated.
