Abstract: | Ecuador has consolidated itself as one of the global leaders in flower exports. However, compliance with regulations is crucial to maintaining this competitiveness. This study aims to analyze the adherence to flower export regulations by companies affiliated with Expoflores. The research follows a qualitative, exploratory, and descriptive methodology to deepen the understanding of the protocols governing Ecuador’s floricultural exports. Key responsible organizations include Agrocalidad, SENAE, MAG, INEN, and Expoflores, which play essential roles in phytosanitary, customs, agricultural, and certification monitoring. Areas for improvement include the need to digitize processes to reduce time and operational costs, as well as strengthening continuous training. For Ecuador to remain a leader in flower exports, it is essential to facilitate access to international regulations through support programs and subsidies. |
