Desarrollo de un sistema de procedimiento para el área logística de exportación para la empresa ISIMARE S.A.

Abstract

The objective of this research project is to design a system of standardized logistics procedures to optimize the export operations of Isimare S.A., an Ecuadorian company dedicated to the export of fishing products. The absence of a structured system has generated problems in internal coordination, product traceability and operational efficiency, which has impacted the company's competitiveness in international markets. To address this problem, the research was based on a qualitative analysis of relevant bibliographic and documentary sources, allowing the main deficiencies in logistics processes to be identified. It was found that the lack of clear procedures affects communication between the areas of foreign trade, administration and logistics, as well as the supervision of cargo security and certification processes. Additionally, the need to integrate technologies such as temperature monitoring devices and digital tools for document management was evident. The resulting proposal establishes a structured logistics system that covers all phases of the export process, from the receipt of the order to the physical capacity at the port of shipment. This model will allow Isimare S.A. improve efficiency in cargo management, reduce operating costs and ensure compliance with international regulations. Through this optimization, the company will be able to strengthen its positioning in foreign trade, increase its response capacity to global markets and ensure the quality of its products throughout the export chain.
