Abstract

This research explores the impact of digit ization on foreign trade operations, focused on Yeli tuna from Marbelize S.A., an Ecuadorian fishing company wit h a solid international track record. In a context where efficiency, precision and sustainabilit y are paramount, digit izat ion emerges as a key factor to optimize the supply chain, inventory management and customer experience, in addit ion to ensuring regulatory compliance. The study was carried out through a qualitat ive approach, data from interviews with the production manager are collected, evaluat ing the benefits, challenges and results obtained after the adoption of new technologies. The findings highlight an increase in efficiency, compet it iveness and profitabilit y, posit ioning Marbelize S.A. as a key player in the internat ional market for fishery products.
