Abstract: The company CALAGUALA S.A. belongs to the food industry and was founded in 1990. Its economic activity is the production and processing of food products. It started with a capital of three million dollars, had 25 workers and eight employees, currently its capital amounts to ten million dollars, has 150 workers and 24 employees, sales reached eleven million dollars last year and a profit of five million dollars. From the beginning, the general manager liked to make decisions in all areas and directly oversee the proper functioning of the factory. During the first years, the company produced good-quality products at low costs, which allowed it to gain a strong market position. Recently, sales have declined due to a large number of rejects, constant staff turnover, and loss of materials.
Description: La empresa CALAGUALA S.A. pertenece a la industria alimenticia la cual se fundó en el año 1990, siendo su actividad económica la producción y elaboración de productos alimenticios, inició con un capital de tres millones de dólares, contaba con 25 obreros y 8 empleados, actualmente su capital asciende a 10 millones de dólares, cuenta con 150 obreros y 24 empleados, las ventas alcanzaron en el último año la cantidad de 11 millones de dólares y la utilidad de 5 millones de dólares.
