Abstract: | This degree project aims to develop an interactive software prototype that leverages the capabilities of the Microsoft Kinect sensor to assist in personalized physiokinetic therapies. This system seeks to enhance patients' experience during rehabilitation exercises, providing a technological solution that optimizes the interaction between the user and the platform. The software development was carried out using the agile KANBAN methodology, enabling efficient and flexible management of the project's stages. Additionally, tools such as the Kinect sensor were integrated to capture body movements and measure distances, along with desktop development platforms to implement an interactive interface that facilitates navigation. Exercises and routines prescribed by physiotherapy specialists were researched and analyzed, identifying upper and lower body movements that the sensor can accurately register. Finally, the prototype was validated through a functional demonstration that confirms how the software complements therapeutic physical activities, offering innovative and effective support in the rehabilitation process. |
