Abstract: Social responsibility in Bahía de Caráquez restaurants is not only a trend, but a necessity that can generate a positive impact on both the business and the community. In addition, it helps sustainability wherever it is, its own well-being for the business and its customers and employees, corresponds to a good demand to attract new customers, promoting that they feel satisfied and safe. It makes known a unique opportunity for sustainable development of the community, providing the strength of the relationship with customers by promoting the support of local producers and the well-being of employees. They can implement various social responsibility actions that benefit the local community, when choosing gastronomy, by using local ingredients, which contributes to farmers in the region and the country, thus reducing the carbon footprint, when not buying transported products. Furthermore, sustainable practices are more valued at a national level, obtaining a healthy and healthy environment for all, however, the initiatives that take place within the city of Bahía de Caráquez will be compared, such as waste reduction, recycling and the promotion of sustainable practices in business employers. This research is divided into five sections: the first provides an introduction, taking into account the variables and bibliographic review, the second section describes the methodological aspects implemented, then the discussion is carried out based on recent bibliographic sources, and finally the conclusions are described.
Description: La responsabilidad social en los restaurantes de Bahía de Caráquez no solo es una tendencia, sino una necesidad que puede generar un impacto positivo tanto en el negocio como en la comunidad. Además, ayuda a la sostenibilidad donde sea su propio bienestar para el negocio y los clientes y sus empleados, corresponde a una buena demanda de atraer a nuevos clientes, promoviendo que ellos se sientan satisfechos y seguros.
