Estrategias de economía circular para la sostenibilidad de la Reserva Natural Punta Gorda del Cantón Sucre.

Abstract

This paper focuses on how to develop "Circular Economy Strategies for the Sustainability of the Punta Gorda Nature Reserve in Sucre." It explores the importance of these strategies, defined as a process and control framework for the reserve's operations. It also explores the importance of process management as crucial for efficient administration. It also highlights sustainability, which is defined as the environmental process, development, and management of operations while assuming risks, highlighting its beneficial role at the personal and organizational levels. It addresses circular economy strategies, with the main objective of designing a circular economy model to contribute to the sustainability of the Punta Gorda Nature Reserve. The research methods used were documentary, scientific, and descriptive, as well as survey and interview techniques. According to the research results obtained through the survey of the 16 process managers, in which the statistical program SPSS 25.00 was used for tabulation to measure its effectiveness and feasibility, a value of 0.924 was obtained, indicating the reliability of the project, in which it was determined to seek to design a circular economy model, thus benefiting the Reserve and contributing to the sustainability of Bahía de Caráquez. Finally, a circular economy model was developed in accordance with the reserve's processes and strategies with the objective of minimizing the environmental impact and managing the processes.
