Abstract

This study seeks to strengthen the development of tourism in San Clemente through strategic management. Its objective is to design an action plan that will allow the community of San Clemente to efficiently manage, promote, and strengthen tourism development, improving the local economy and increasing the visibility of the tourist destination. This research is important due to San Clemente's tourism potential, which requires strategic management to compete in the global market. The lack of inclusive strategies limits the sector's growth and business participation in tourism development. A qualitative methodology was used, conducting interviews with tourism service providers and conducting a SWOT analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in San Clemente's tourism sector. Furthermore, the project highlights the importance of implementing this training proposal in customer service, hospitality, marketing, and other aspects for residents, and seeking to improve the quality of services and thus attract more tourists through administrative strategies or partnerships. Through the implementation of this training plan, the program will contribute to the development of tourism in San Clemente by increasing employment and promoting sustainable tourism that benefits both residents and the local economy.
